This is the mailing list for distribution of PFIR - People For Internet Responsibility announcements, policy statements, and other public communications. More information and archives are available via the PFIR Homepage. Members may choose between immediate delivery of new messages (the default setting), or digests of messages. Please see below to subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your subscription settings. Subscriptions are free, of course.

Subscribing to pfir

Subscribe to pfir by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.

Important Note: Please do not attempt to subscribe an address that uses a "challenge-response" system for spam blocking -- such addresses will not be successfully subscribed.

The names and e-mail addresses of subscribers to this list are private, and will only be used to distribute the materials described above to subscribers.

Please do not choose a valuable password that you use for other purposes, since this form does not encrypt your password, and your password may be emailed back to you as unencrypted cleartext.

    If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options.
